What You’ll Do
  • Be a key player in growing our business by producing highly effective and personalized outreach campaigns
  • Engage with prospects over email, phone, and other strategic networking channels to qualify and set appointments leading to demos
  • Maintain active engagement with leads through informed, strategic, and creative follow-ups
  • Partner with core executive team and product to deliver effective messaging and identify the best customer profiles
  • Update and maintain CRM database (Pipedrive)
  • Manage outbound processes, from lead generation to pipeline in Sales Enablement tool (Salesloft)
  • Achieve monthly quotas of SAO’s (Sales Accepted Opportunities)
  • Expand knowledge of industry as well as the competitive posture of the company— and share this knowledge with the wider team
  • Continually develop skills and broaden knowledge base to actively improve client service and business offerings
  • Work closely with our management team to continue to develop ICP of Amalgam and be a key contributor to business
What You’ve Got
  • (1-3 years) Sales development experience— preferably outbound cold-calling to sell software / SaaS (or a highly technical product)
  • Experience with Pipedrive, Salesloft or a similar CRM and sales tools
  • High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment, and professionalism
  • Passion for technology and a desire to make a major impact at a high-growth startup
  • Eager to learn and advance your sales skills
Nice to Haves
  • Experience reaching or exceeding weekly / monthly activity goals/quotas
  • Background or interest in Finance or Accounting
  • Familiarity with Salesloft and Pipedrive
  • Familiarity with APIs and the ways web apps exchange information
  • Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets


What You’ll Do 
  • Work with our founder to plan, prioritize, and implement new product features based on technical needs and business opportunities
  • Act as a primary resource when tricky or complex implementation questions arise. You’ll be the go-to contributor for challenging problems
  • Help refine existing solutions for better efficiency, stability, and scalability
  • Provide mentorship and support for junior members of the dev team. This is not a role focused on managing personnel, but we hope you’ll take an interest in the growth of our dev team as a whole
  • Develop product mastery, and coordinate with user-facing and sales teams to devise new features and support business questions
  • Help guide our business as it grows. You will be part of our leadership team, with input into the personnel, strategy, and (crucially) culture of our team as it continues to grow!
What You’ve Got
  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack or back-end development roles
  • Python, JS, and AWS experience required
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members
  • Flexible, creative thinker, with the ability to quickly learn and solve problems
  • Confidence to make decisions with imperfect information. Mistakes are better than inaction, we don’t waste time assigning blame or criticizing
  • Ability to self-manage and prioritize dynamically as objectives and priorities evolve
Nice to Haves
  • Experience working with React and Flask frameworks
  • We support finance users, so some Excel familiarity is a plus
