Amalgam + NetSuite Integration Checklist
This checklist covers the settings required on the NetSuite side to connect your NetSuite account to Amalgam.
Checklist of Necessary Settings on the NetSuite Side
Section titled “Checklist of Necessary Settings on the NetSuite Side”1. Company ID
Section titled “1. Company ID”Confirm the company ID number in the Amalgam form and the NetSuite URL match.
2. Setup → Company → Enable Features → SuiteCloud
Section titled “2. Setup → Company → Enable Features → SuiteCloud”- Under “SuiteTalk (Web Services)”: enable SOAP Web Services and REST Web Services
- Under “Manage Authentication”: enable OAuth 2.0
3. Setup → Integration → Manage Integration → [Integration Name]
Section titled “3. Setup → Integration → Manage Integration → [Integration Name]”- Integration State: “Enabled”
- Token-based authentication: checked
- TBA: Authorization Flow: unchecked
- OAuth 2.0: checked
- Authorization Code grant: checked
- Public Client: checked

- Scopes: RESTlet, REST Web Services, SuiteAnalytics Connect (all checked)
4. Client ID and Client Secret
Section titled “4. Client ID and Client Secret”Match the ones on the Amalgam form:
- Client ID
- Client Secret
5. Username, Role, and Application
Section titled “5. Username, Role, and Application”Properly set in the consent screen:
- Username
- Role
- Application (if more than one application is enabled, the integration will only work in the one that the integration was created under)
6. OAuth 2.0 Login Permission
Section titled “6. OAuth 2.0 Login Permission”The user has permission to connect using OAuth 2.0:
- “Log in using OAuth 2.0 Access Tokens” is included in the role.
